8:08 a.m. Communion Service
This service offers communion every week. From November - April we worship in the main sanctuary. From May - October we worship in our chapel. This service provides a more intimate setting focused on prayer, the Word, and Holy Communion.
10:00 a.m. Traditional Worship
This service is filled with the many traditions of the Methodist Church. The Chancel Choir and all three Children's Choirs assist with this service throughout the year. This service has a time especially for children, followed by children's church for those ages 3 years old to 2nd grade. Also children 3rd-5th grade have the opportunity to serve and participate as acolytes, assisting the ministry staff throughout the service.

Helpful Hints
The 10:00am service is held in the sanctuary and Communion is served on the first Sunday of the month.
Our nursery, located on the top floor, is available for children up to age 3 during both services and Sunday School. All of our nursery staff and volunteers have been screened and trained as part of our Safe Sanctuaries policy.
Assisting in Worship
At SSUMC, we offer many opportunities for people to assist in our worship services. We encourage everyone to find a way to share their talents with the congregation. We are always looking for people to serve the Lord at the 10:00 a.m. worship services. Several of the opportunities are:
Ushers
Greeters
Offertory Prayer Leaders
Scripture Readers
Communion Preparation
Sanctuary Preparation
Acolytes (3rd-5th grade)
