Kyle is husband to Lindsay, and father of three --Gus, Finn, and Camille. He serves as the Director of Children and Family Ministries at State Street, a role he has held since 2018.  He also teaches 4th grade at TC Cherry Elementary and has been an educator since 2007, with experience teaching Kindergarten through 5th grade. 

Kyle has been part of the State Street community since 2007.  He grew up in the United Methodist Church as an active member at Madisonville FUMC where he developed a strong foundation for ministry-- singing in the choir, ringing in the handbell choir, and serving as an organist apprentice during high school.  When not making music, he often worked in the nursery or taught Sunday School to Kindergarten and 1st grade children. 

His lifelong calling has been working with children, and he believes this work is a true team effort involving not just the child, but their families and the broader community.  "I believe the best way to teach others about God is by example," Kyle says.  "My hope is to reflect God's love in how I serve, lead, parent, and teach." 

Kyle is grateful for the opportunity to walk alongside families in faith.  He is thankful and blessed by the family he has at State Street.
