Mission and Fellowship Opportunities

1. Co-Ed Softball

Our Co-ed softball season begins its Five Week season Sunday, August 23rd. It is a a ton of fun and great way to meet new people. Please let adam (adam.potter@insightbb.com ) know if you would like to play. This is a church league and we do not require golden glove status or major league experience. Sign up and play on Sunday afternoons.

2. "Just Serve" - Days to serve our community

We have 2 service projects coming up. First is a volunteer opportunity to serve at the Habitat for Humanity fundraiser on Saturday, August 29th. We will be running children's games and activities for 3 hours. It's worth a free dinner and a free event t-shirt. Also, on Saturday, September 19th State Street will be hosting a church wide work day on our district Habitat for Humanity building project. We will work in two shifts - 8-12 and 1-5. Please let Adam know ASAP if you are able to help with either of these projects.

3. Annual January International Mission Trip

More details will follow, but for now, it looks like we will be headed to the mountains of Venezuela to work over Christmas break. Flight schedules are subject to change, but the trip is tentatively scheduled for December 30th-January 9th. The cost is typically $1000. Please consider whether this is an opportunity that God is calling you to be a part of. Please check back here for sign up details and deposit dates.

A new Sunday School Study . . .

A new class for Sunday School is forming and set to begin on September 27th. It will meet in the library from 10:15-11:15, prior to Exodus. Details will be announced. Think about joining us for another great community opportunity.

Exodus- A Modern Worship Experience

Exodus meets every Sunday morning in the sanctuary at 11:30a.m.  This service is a laid back gathering of people who are committed to being a community on a journey.  You can wear what you want and I promise you’ll fit right in here.

On an average Sunday you might hear our band sing Chris Tomlin’s Indescribable, a hymn like Amazing Grace or a praise and worship favorite like Better is One Day. Then you would have the opportunity to share in communion, take some time at the altar and give thanks to God through sharing your prayers, presence, gifts and service.

Our Leaders share real messages that help to put Christ at the center of our busy lives. More than anything we want to be a church committed to growth toward Christ in our hearts and our community.

Join us . . . We could be your new family!
