Wednesday Night Gathering

Join us on Wednesdays during the school year for Food, Fellowship, and Bible Study.  We gather in Fellowship Hall for supper at 5:20 p.m.    Pastor Paul will present a bible study in Fellowship Hall at 6 p.m.  while a ladies bible study will meet in the Library.  Youth and Children's activities are located on the top floor and the Nursery is available on the second floor if needed.
Bible Fellowship Group

The Bible Fellowship Group meets at 7 p.m. on the second and fourth Monday of the month at the homes of the members.  Watch the Church bulletin for meeting locations.
Monday Morning Bible Study

The Monday Morning Bible Study meets at 10:00 a.m. on Monday mornings during the school year in the Church Library.  Everyone is welcome.
United Methodist Women
The United Methodist Women is a community of women whose purpose is to know God and experience freedom through Jesus Christ.

SSUMC UMW Unit Meetings:

All meetings take place in Fellowship Hall.  The Executive Committee will meet 1 hour prior to the the General Meeting.

August 1,  3 p.m.  Women's Fellowship Tea

 October 4  9 a.m.   Executive Meeting in the Library

United Methodist Men
The United Methodist Men is a fellowship of men who seek to grow spiritually and to seek God's will.

State Street's UM Men meet for breakfast once a month on Saturday morning from 8:30 - 10:30 a.m.  The men usually meet on the fourth Sunday of the month during the school year and take the summer off.  State Street's UM Men sponsor the Fore the Lord Golf Tournament as a fundraiser for missions, and they host a community pancake breakfast in December.
Faith Builders

 Faith Builders provides a fellowship opportunity for all adults. Refreshments are served, and a program is presented at most meetings.  Occasionally, special activities will be scheduled in lieu of a meeting in Fellowship Hall. 

Faith Builders Schedule:

July 18 -Join us at 5:30 p.m. at the Split Tree BBQ restaurant  on Scottsville Road.

August 15 - We will have Homemade Ice Cream and Other Confections to kick off our new season!  Feel free to bring a friend.  We will meet in Fellowship Hall at 5:30 p.m.

September 25 - Meet us at L.N. Railway Museum for a Continental Breakfast at 8:30 a.m.  Dr. Janet Bass-Smith will present a program on  "Railway Music"
