Wednesday Night Programs for Adults
Adult WNG Programs

 Join us on Wednesdays during the school year for Food, Fellowship, and Bible Study.  We gather in Fellowship Hall for supper at 5:20 p.m., Bible Studies start at 6 p.m.

Wednesday Night Gathering Program Schedule:

May 7        Children's Talent Show after the WNG meal

May 14      Churchwide Picnic at Preston Miller Park, Shelter 2.  (Please bring side dishes & desserts.  Hamburgers and hotdogs will be provided.

  

Wednesday Night Bible Study Begins on May 21st!  The Bible Study will begin at 6 p.m., there is no dinner preceeding the study.

May 21       "In His Steps: Cleansing a Leper"  Mark 1:40-45

May 28       "In His Steps:  Forgiveness"  Mark 2: 1-12

Bible Fellowship Group

The Bible Fellowship Group meets at 7 p.m. on the second and fourth Monday of the month at the homes of the members.  Watch the Church bulletin for meeting locations.
Monday Morning Bible Study

The Monday Morning Bible Study meets on Monday mornings at 10:30 a.m. in the Church Library.  Everyone is welcome.
United Methodist Women
The United Methodist Women is a community of women whose purpose is to know God and experience freedom through Jesus Christ.

SSUMC UMW Unit Meetings:

All meetings take place in Fellowship Hall.  The Executive Committee will meet 1 hour prior to the the General Meeting.

United Methodist Men
The United Methodist Men is a fellowship of men who seek to grow spiritually and to seek God's will.

State Street's UM Men meet for breakfast once a month on Saturday morning from 8:30 - 10:30 a.m.  The men usually meet on the fourth Sunday of the month during the school year and take the summer off.  State Street's UM Men sponsor the Fore the Lord Golf Tournament as a fundraiser for missions, and they host a community pancake breakfast in December.
Faith Builders

 Faith Builders provides a fellowship opportunity for older adults. Refreshments are served, and a program is presented at most meetings.  Occasionally, special activities will be scheduled in lieu of a meeting in Fellowship Hall.  Faith Builders meet the third Sunday of the month at 5 p.m.

Faith Builders Schedule:

May 18, 11 a.m.           Road Trip to Mammoth Cave Hotel for dinner after the 10 a.m. service. (Reservations required before May 11.

June 15, 5 p.m.             Fellowship Hall.  Program "Neighborhood Watch."  We will also hold the election of officers.
